Black Rhino- Extinct!

I found out today we have lost another animal to extinction, the black Rhino.
These species have been declared critically extinct since 2006 & yet we have not done enough to save them from their impending doom.

Whats the difference between Black& White Rhinos?
Black rhinos developed a pointed lip which they use to pick fruit from branches and select leaves from twigs; white rhinos have a flat, wide lip to graze on grasses. So why call them white or black?  In Afrikaans and in English – “weid” or “wide” lipped rhino was mistakenly understood to be white rhino.

Their  extinction comes through a lack of properly funded governed conservation of the species and the high priced horns have lured poachers to slaughter every single one. Though poaching is a problem, more conservation areas should have been put in place with proper authority figures. I do not blame poaching as much as for those poor Africans, imagine being told for one horn of a rhino you will be able to feed your family for the week , even a month. No argument there. Proper authority figures & regulations should have been put in place.

To protect further species from extinction some world governing body should put in places for conservation and employ the local people (sustainability there)  to run the area and have a proper regulation of these standards& practices whilst also having an authority figure to properly safeguard these areas and future endangered species.
