When eating out not only is it sometimes difficult to find a good vegan option on the menu but it is also hard to find vegan alcoholic beverages.
When eating out not only is it sometimes difficult to find a good vegan option on the menu but it is also hard to find vegan alcoholic beverages.
I know some vegans might for look at what
is in the drinks they are consuming, but the principle of drinking
vegan alcohol and avoiding non-vegan alcohol is to withhold financial support
from companies, which use animal products to make their own product. Animal
products demand the killing and/or exploitation of animals, which is both
unnecessary and undesirable.
When making these products they use dairy,
honey and other things and when filtering the drinks prior to bottling, these
companies may use isinglass (from the fish bladder), gelatin, egg whites, among
other products.
I have comprised a list of vegan friendly
